Whimsical Women 2007

Pine Crest Farm
Betty and James Coughlin

Saturday, August 4, 2007 began with vivid blue skies and billowing white clouds and clear Adirondack air.  Women gathered at Pine Crest Farm for an engaging day of creativity. The hosting Coughlin residence boasted of the Salmon River and pond, meadows and pine woods, pool and perennials, all abundant in color and charm. The 6th annual Whimsical Women Invitational included 30 participants, all outfitted with paint and palette, easels and chairs. Cameras clicked at all angles to capture the glory of the floral majesty presented amid dramatic skies of cloud and sun. A congenial group of new and old members  in November will share their day of creativity in an art exhibition.

Foothills Arts thanks you, Nancy Child, very much for all your hard work organizing and getting Whimsical Women Day up and ready to go on August 4, 2007. Here you are at Jim and Betty Coughlin's very early on the morning of August 4th getting the sign up at the end of the driveway, and with that in place, we were ready to go!
