There is much enthusiasm and interest in making Foothills Arts a viable organization in the greater Malone community. Ideas are continually being shared about extending the audience and membership to include summer areas around the lakes.

President

     Jennifer's goal is to be part of an organization that fosters the work of area artists and provides  the entire community with access to the creative arts.

Vice President

Beverly Quenville

     Bev is owner and proprietor of forARTSake, a business on Main Street in Malone.  She actively pursues her varied interests in art  to benefit the greater Malone community.

Secretary

Carol Thompson

     Carol is on the board of the  Chateaugay Revitalization Committee. She is active in the Franklin County SPCA, Neighbors for the Preservation of the North Country, and RPL, a group working on alternative energy options for North Country homes and farms.

Treasurer

Julia Holmes

     Julia owns and operates  Julia’s Art Glass in the Market Barn shopping area. She enjoys teaching students and participates annually in the Holy Family May Art Exhibit.

Susy Cantwell

 

     Susy is an active member of many organizations that develop and promote the art culture in the Malone area. The success of Foothills Arts is one of her main interests.

Jeanne Danforth

      Jeanne's  focus at the moment is her art and involvement with Foothills Arts. She strongly feels the arts should be a vital part of a fulfilling life, especially if you live in the North Country. She says, A key component to Foothills Arts is to find ways to provide easy and interesting access to the arts in the Malone area and beyond.

Tammy Gordon

     Tammy enjoys taking art classes at forARTSake and participating in many art events She says, I am amazed at all the art talent in the community. It is important to have many ways for local artists and their works to be showcased, and Foothills Arts provides many opportunities....

Pamela May

    Pamela went back to college and is now working as a crisis counselor. Her new job has enabled her to go back to the drawing board. Six years ago, she started oil painting for the first time in 30 years. Although some difficulties continue to persist, Pamela says she is now in a very comfortable place in her life.
